  • Remarkable Tree Book Tour Co-authors Jeff Kirwan, Nancy Ross Hugo and Robert Llewellyn will be appearing around the state to promote their new book, Remarkbale Trees of Virginia. The book is the culminating effort of a three year search for the Commonwealth's largest, oldest, most historic, beautiful and culturally significant trees. The authors hope the project will involve a new generation of Virginians in celebrating trees!

  • Tree Value Calculator Enter a tree's diameter and it will give you its value for reducing air pollution, stormwater, and storing carbon. Another page calculates the value of lumber in a tree. Still another calculates the biodiversity index for a group of trees in the forest or on a school campus.
